ABOUT ME

My name is Shanese and I’m the recipe developer and food photographer behind Breezy Mom Life.

I’m a pharmacist and I have been momma bear for over 8 years.

I can still picture the day that I dropped my first born off at daycare for the first time. I was a crying hot mess express! What I knew as mom life changed from that day forward.

That first year was a rollercoaster; fun and amazing yet overwhelming. It took a lot of adjusting and lots of grace. The one thing I did do pretty consistently, in the midst of it all was manage to cook dinner. This is because a) I love food b) I really enjoy a good home cooked meal; especially those with cajun flavors! What can I say? I am a Louisiana girl through and through!

The problem I had: it was exhausting and time consuming preparing meals after working all day. So, I had to figure out a solution.

I began to prep and plan on the weekends which helped a lot. I pretty much cooked all of my family meals on either the stove top, or in the oven or crockpot. But then in 2015 game-changing gadget popped up on my newsfeed.

Someone had posted about a pressure cooker and I was immediately intrigued. I did some research on them and I was sold. I ordered a pressure cooker that very day. With my pressure cooker, I was able to prepare my favorite family meals more quickly and easily.

A bonus: they were infused with so much flavor. Then, a few years later I got an air fryer as a Mother’s Day gift and I was in small appliance heaven yet again!

Using the pressure cooker and air fryer to cook my family meals saves me so much time. I still prepare many of my meals on the stovetop/oven as well. But adding the pressure cooker and air fryer to my cooking methods was seriously a game-changer for me as a working mom.

In this little corner of the internet is where I share my recipe creations, recommendations, tips and tricks with you!

I hope that you enjoy!
